How we ensure our children are safe online:

Online safety is split into eight strands:

Self-image and identity

Online Relationships

To teach these strands, alongside the computing curriculum, we use Project Evolve:

Each class will begin with the children answering questions to complete a baseline knowledge map: 

This information is then used by the teachers to determine the aspects of that strand the children in their class/group need additional support with.

 

Teach: The teachers then use the resources with the children to teach the aspects highlighted.

Finally, the children answer a second set of questions to evaluate their knowledge at the end of the teaching. This produces an impact knowledge map:
